Getting Unauthorized User when Trying to Login to the Library Databases from Off-Campus

If you are getting the error message when trying to login to a Library Database from off-campus, please contact the Library immediately with your name and email address either through Ask-A-Librarian or through chat.

The Library will work with you to troubleshoot the issue. You may be given a temporary user and password.

To use the temporary username and password, you must go to this Special Authentication Webpage.

A to Z list of vendors will show up. You should be able to open a new tab in the same browser and go to the Databases (Article) webpage and search for database you need.

If accessing the databases in another tab doesn't work, you should be able to access some of the databases by scrolling down on the A to Z list until you find the vendor whose databases you want to search. Click on the vendor who databases you want to search. You can access the popular vendors Credo Reference and EBSCO Information Services this way. EBookCentral and Gale/Cengage Learning do not work from A to Z page.
