While the library is not the expert on the writing process (we are the research experts), your instructor or the TLC are the writing experts, so they are the best place to go with questions on things like theses. The library has pulled together some short videos, articles, and webpages on theses that students might find useful.on the topic of creating a thesis. We want to try to help in any way we can.

On The Research Process guide, there is a tab 4. Research Question and Thesis Statement that has been expanded to include resources for Resource for Thesis Statements which would be good for most essays. There is another one that is for literature Resources for Literary Thesis Statements.
